This plateform helps to hold heavier items in the enclosure and encoruages hamsters to be able to dig tunnels and have them be stable without falling from the heavy objects.  
 
Material: platform  is made of beech plywood (pet grade, no harmful chemicals), legs are made with beech wood and have screw on legs. No extra glue needed and no sharp nails.
